Fed up with the failure of the criminal justice system, Americans have come to the conclusion that the system they’ve put their faith in for so long just isn’t working. They demand a solution to the increasing rate of violent crime victimizing innocent people. Their outcry calls for the Constitution to be revamped, giving law enforcement more latitude to defeat crime. The change comes in the form of a new and radical way of putting a crimp on the rising rate of recidivism through the formation of controversial WANT divisions within the police department. These highly trained and clandestine officers are federally sanctioned to bring in or put down the most vile, psychotic, and irredeemable criminals ever to avoid arrest. Everything seems to work in favor of the change, until one officer discovers nothing good ever comes without a high price. 385 pages.
